THE MAIN PROBLEMS OF IMPLEMENTING E-LEARNING AND ITS ADVANTAGES IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS COMPARED TO TRADITIONAL METHODS

E-learning is education using electronic technologies, primarily the Internet. It allows you to take a distance education course, which makes it possible to study anytime and anywhere.  
E-learning in Ukraine faces various challenges and prospects for development. Some of the aspects worth considering include theoretical and methodological approaches, problems of distance learning, digitalization of Ukrainian education, and prospects for the development of e-learning.  
With the help of computers and electronic communication via the Internet, e-learning provides the possibility of a flexible learning schedule suitable for adults and working people. However, it also requires students to have computer skills and certain technical equipment.
The main problems of implementing e-learning in Ukraine include the following:  
1. Limited access to the Internet and technical equipment: This makes it difficult to organize distance learning, especially for students from less affluent regions.  
2. The need for computer skills and technical equipment: E-learning requires students to have certain computer skills and access to appropriate technical equipment.  
3. Self-control and motivation: Independent learning of educational material requires strong motivation and self-control from students.  
4. Limited personal contact: Distance learning limits students' personal contact with each other and with teachers, which can affect the quality of education.  
5. Problems of "quarantine" education: Limited access to the Internet and technical equipment for students makes it difficult to organize distance learning, especially during quarantine.  
These problems require attention and solutions for the further development of e-learning in Ukraine.
E-learning has a number of advantages over traditional teaching methods. The table represents all advantages, as indicated in the research.

Although e-learning has its advantages, it is also important to consider its disadvantages, such as the need for strong motivation and self-control to master the learning material independently, limited personal contact between students and teachers, and identification issues.  
As for the prospects of development, the system of distance learning in Ukraine is still in its infancy, but if it uses international experience and combines advanced technologies, it can have a significant impact on national interests.  
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that e-learning is relevant and widely used in educational institutions around the world. In advanced countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, e-learning is one of the most developed industries, with a large number of students studying online.
However, in Ukraine, e-learning still needs to be further developed and improved, as there are challenges such as limited access to the Internet and technical equipment. It is also important to keep in mind that e-learning has its advantages, such as flexibility and individualization of learning, development of students' skills and abilities with the help of modern technologies, and accessibility for expats and temporary migrants.
